Meccon's experience constructing airport facilities is extensive with the projects performed at major airports since 1982 exceeding a value of Four Hundred Million Dollars ($400,000,000.00).

Fuel Farm Projects

constructed by Meccon include active fuel storage at Chicago's O'Hare International and Midway Airports, Reno-Tahoe International Airport, New York John F. Kennedy International Airport, Nashville International Airport, and San Bernardino International Airport. Total fuel capacity build exceeds 600,000 barrel storage (total capacity 25,000,000 gallons)

Fuel Transmission Lines

constructed by Meccon on operating airports facilities exceeds fifty-six (56) miles (300,000 lineal feet). Associated system elements include concrete isolation valve vaults, taxiway crossings, tunnel & culvert crossings, boring and jacking operations, horizontal directional drilling (HDD), fuel system flushing and line tie-ins to existing systems.

Aircraft Hydrant Fuel Systems

constructed by Meccon for new and existing airport concourse and terminal facilities for all major airlines. Project scope of work includes the installation of isolation valve vaults, hydrant fueling pits, emergency fuel shutoff systems (EFSO), hydrant system flushing and commissioning.
